Alice Sutton
Alice Sutton

Alice Sutton is a mother of three young children living in London, one of whom was born with an incredibly rare genetic syndrome, Wiedemann-Steiner, for which there is no cure. Alice's daughter, Etta, was diagnosed aged two and has a number of health complications which Alice and her family have been dealing with since birth. Due to the rarity of this syndrome, very few medical professionals are aware of the symptoms and resulting difficulties, both physical and mental, which affect Etta. As such, Alice is her daughter's primary care co-ordinator and advocate; she spends a huge amount of time with her daughter in NHS hospitals and has experienced, first-hand, how critical technology is in treating patients and informing nurses and doctors. Alice brings a unique and passionate perspective on how important digital transformation is to the lives of patients and all those who strive to support them.
