Greta has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) since September 2019. The FNF is a UK based nursing and midwifery charity supporting nurses and midwives through leadership development. In 2023 launched its work to support nurses and midwives across the world.

Greta has worked at a senior level in Health Care, Higher Education and, now in the Charity Sector and has gained substantial experience and an in depth understanding of the complexities of these environments and the key challenges each face.

Greta is a Registered Nurse and a Florence Nightingale Foundation Alumna (2012 Leadership Scholar).

She completed an MSc in Health Psychology in 1996 and a PhD in Nursing in 2010. She was a awarded a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the Queen’s 2021 New Year’s Honours for Services to Nursing and Midwifery.
