A career nurse of over 35 years, Dave has significant nursing experience in military and trauma leadership. He is currently Interim Chief Nurse, heading back to his role as Director of Nursing Strategy & Transformation and the Chief Nursing Information Officer across Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in October 2025, he previously held an Executive Nursing post in Devon. Alongside this Dave is also a Senior Officer in the Royal Army Medical Services in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is Professor and Director of International affairs with the Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences.
